Paolo Garella, CEO & Founder of M.A.T., took part in a high-level discussion on innovation, sustainability, and the future of high-performance automotive design

JUNE 5–8, 2025
MOTOR VALLEY FEST – MODENA

Manifattura Automobili Torino was among the key players at Motor Valley Fest 2025, one of Italy’s most prestigious automotive events, held in Modena from June 5 to 8. The company was involved on multiple fronts: from conference panels to the city square, showcasing the Aspark SP600, which in 2024 earned the title of the world’s fastest electric car.

A High-Level Discussion

M.A.T.’s CEO & Founder, Paolo Garella, took part in an exclusive panel titled “Designing the Future: Innovation, Aesthetics, and Technology in the World of High-Performance Vehicles,” moderated by Alessandro Lago, Editor-in-Chief of Motor1.com Italia. During the session, he shared his unique perspective on bespoke automotive manufacturing, the electric transition, and the evolving demands of the high-end market.

The session opened with a talk featuring two icons of Italian automotive design: Flavio Manzoni, Chief Design Officer at Ferrari, and Fabrizio Giugiaro, CEO of GFG Style.

The discussion then expanded into two roundtables, bringing together some of the most influential names in the industry, including representatives from Pininfarina, Italdesign, Walter De Silva Studio, and Ducati Motor Holding.

Paolo Garella on Design, Production, and Sustainability

Paolo Garella joined the second roundtable, focused on Design, Production, and Sustainability, alongside Jennifer Stucko, Founder and CEO of Prota Fiori, and David Wilkie, Head of CNH Industrial Design.

The discussion explored the transformation of the bespoke vehicle market and the impact of electrification on both aesthetic and functional expectations of high-end clients—topics that are central to M.A.T.’s mission and daily work.

Chaired by Alessandro Lago, the roundtable brought together leading professionals and industry stakeholders to share insights and perspectives on the car of the future, with a strong focus on innovation driven by artificial intelligence and material science.

The Aspark SP600 on Display at Fondazione Collegio San Carlo

Alongside the institutional events, M.A.T. showcased at Motor Valley Fest the car that set the world speed record for an electric hypercar in 2024: the Aspark SP600.

The vehicle was displayed at Fondazione Collegio San Carlo, one of the most prestigious and evocative venues in the heart of Modena. Throughout the event, enthusiasts and visitors had the opportunity to admire the SP600 up close, interact with the team, and discover the story and technology behind the world’s fastest electric hypercar.

A unique opportunity to bring the public closer to an extraordinary project born from the collaboration between Aspark, M.A.T., and Bridgestone capable of reaching 438.7 km/h at Automotive Testing Papenburg in June 2024.
