Quality policy

Manifattura Automobili Torino S.r.l. has committed to define a Quality Management System complying with the criteria of UNI EN ISO 9001: 2015.
The objective of this Policy is to provide a guideline to every employee, collaborator and supplier to our company so that, jointly considered, they can act in accordance with its contents, procedures and with the documentation of the Quality System and, in any case, operate with a view to continuous improvement.

Manifattura Automobili Torino S.r.l., by making adequate organizational, technological and financial resources available, intends to pursue the following general objectives in all its activities as integral parts of its business:

  • comply with the legal requirements applicable to the business activities, as well as with the commitments freely undertaken within, or not, the business associations to which MAT adheres or will adhere in the future;
  • create a Quality Management System that is (i) compliant with current and mandatory provisions (ii) based on procedures and instructions aimed at the proper performance of tasks and (iii) monitored through a careful assessment of business risks;
  • offer customers high quality products and services and operate with a view to minimizing their complaints;
  • ensure business continuity above all, also through the pursuit of adequate remuneration for our activities;
  • constantly improve the efficiency of internal processes, by maintaining their effectiveness;
  • ensure the involvement of management and personnel, according to the duties and competences of each, in the pursuit of the objectives;
  • adequately inform, educate and train employees to carry out their duties and ensure that staff are made aware of compliance with the reference regulations, are involved in pursuing the objectives and are instructed and trained to adopt consistent behavior;
  • analyze and understand the organization and its context as well as the needs and expectations of related parties (employees, shareholders, suppliers, etc.)
  • reduce safety risks and improve their prevention, active and passive;
  • reduce and, if possible, eliminate any accidents resulting from work activities;
  • define and plan appropriate intermediate objectives for Quality by periodically monitoring them;
  • monitor the company climate, periodically consult employees and operate with a view to the increasing of their motivation;
  • maintain a dialogue based on the collaboration with the community, local authorities, supervisory authorities and any other interested party;
  • ensure the adoption, by suppliers and companies working on behalf of MAT, of behaviors that are in line with our practices and procedures as well as promoting their continuous improvement;
  • prevent pollution, the risk of accidental events and promote the rational and sustainable management of natural resources, enhancing their use and reducing waste;
  • evaluate in advance new processes, technologies, activities and services in order to identify the aspects and effects on quality and safety;
  • introduce appropriate control and audit methods for the management of the Quality System;
  • periodically review this policy, the analysis of the context, the assessment of the expectations of the interested parties, the risk analysis and the application of the Quality System to assess its correctness and effectiveness, with a view to continuous improvement.
  • To evaluate in advance new processes, technologies, activities and services, by strengthening our innovation capabilities and enlarging our own Intellectual Properties.

Manifattura Automobili Torino, notwithstanding the recent and serious macro-economical difficulties, has reached the expected financial and product-related results. These results are proof of the entrepreneurial spirit of the management team, the firmness in the pursue of results and in maintaining efficiency, the strengthening of the collaboration among and between all parties involved, and last but not least a lasting attention to all quality matters.
Client retention is improving, but an stronger effort needs to be dedicated to the enlargement of the customer base. A stronger business development strategy has already started to produce results. The overall strategy is focused towards an enlargement of the corporate structure and a strengthening of the capital structure, with the aim to both sustain the commercial growth and limit the conjunctural risks. M.A.T. is expecting a revenue growth and an improvement of the profitability of the company.
Among the target we can pinpoint the expansion of the international revenue stream, the growth of internal engineering competences and know-how, and the acquisition of additional manufacturing activities.
In regards with personnel growth, M.A.T. aims to enlarge its commercial and technical areas.
No acquisition (national and international) are forecasted or pursued.
